Main Roads is offering the community a chance to be among the first to see the new NorthLink WA extension of Tonkin Highway in September 2018.
Free bus tours will take interested residents through the construction site of the NorthLink WA central section, from Reid Highway to Ellenbrook, on Saturday September 15, 2018.
Members of the public are encouraged to take the opportunity to tour along the new road alignment, view the Tonkin Highway entrance into Ellenbrook, see the Tonkin-Reid Highway interchange up close and ask questions of the construction team.
Three bus tours will be held on the morning of September 15 2018, departing at 9.15am, 10.30am and 11.45am. The tours will take about one hour. The bus pick-up and drop-off location will be in the car park at The Potter’s House, 480 Marshall Road, Beechboro (entry from Marshall Road).
Please note only passengers with pre-booked tickets will be able to take part in the tour.
The $1.02 billion NorthLink WA initiative is jointly funded by the Australian ($821 million) and Western Australian ($204 million) governments.
